    To measure a toilet seat, first determine the shape of your toilet bowl (round or elongated). Measure the distance from the center of the mounting holes to the front edge of the bowl. For a round bowl, this distance is typically about 16½"; for an elongated bowl, it’s around 18½".

    To install a toilet seat, start by removing the old seat. Align the new seat’s hinges with the mounting holes on the toilet bowl. Insert the bolts through the holes and tighten the nuts until the seat is secure. Make sure the seat is aligned correctly and tighten all components firmly, but avoid overtightening to prevent damage.

    While some bidet toilet seats can be installed by homeowners, professional installation is recommended to ensure proper setup and avoid potential issues.
