Kohler offers a wide range of faucets, showerheads, toilets and flush systems with water-saving designs that deliver optimal performance while helping to earn up to six Indoor Water Use Reduction points.

Materials & Resources

Specifying KOHLER products with recycled content and FSC wood helps earn up to two LEED points for Responsible Sourcing of Raw Materials, and products with an EPD or Declare label can help earn up to three additional Materials & Resources points.

Recycled Content

KOHLER enameled cast iron fixtures and stainless steel kitchen sinks are made with over 80% recycled material. KOHLER WasteLAB® Vox® sinks are made from 70% recycled material, and WasteLAB tiles are made from 99.5% recycled material. All recycled content is pre-consumer unless otherwise specified.

FSC Wood

Kohler is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certified and select wood products are sourced with FSC-certified wood. Our FSC collection will continue to grow each year.

Environmental Product Declarations

Kohler can provide product-specific, Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for thousands of products. These EPDs are each valued as 1.5 products for purposes of LEED credit achievement.

Declare labels provide transparency regarding materials that make up our products. Kohler Declare labels are third-party verified and include verification of content inventory. Each KOHLER product with a Declare label is valued as 1.5 products for purposes of LEED credit achievement.
